Ki uta ki tai: From the Mountains to the Sea

Twice a year (April/May & Sept/Oct) River Estuary Care has a major habitat restoration planting day. This activity is placed as one day of a 4 day residential programme, Ki uta ki tai. Community members are joined by the residential volunteers for a "big push" to accomplish major habitat restoration of a site along the river and estuary.
